Board looks inward

With the clear goal to increase its effectiveness and look ahead to the future of the organization, the ASME Board of Governors continued to take an introspective look at itself.

A fascinating generative discussion moderated by consultant Susan Meier is underway at the BOG meeting.

Some of the areas being discussed include:

  • The makeup of the Board
  • The role of the Board
  • Who we (ASME) are and who do we want to be?
  • How has the culture of volunteerism changed?
